Our story began on a Bangalore PG terrace when Anirudh Singla, our co-founder & CEO, conceptualized and felt a need for a managed marketplace platform for content after seeing the broken freelance industry in India firsthand.
Pepper was formally started in a BITS Pilani dorm in October, 2017 with Anirudh Singla and Rishabh Shekhar as its founders. Back then, they ended up writing and editing 100s of articles monthly, managing customer calls, creator issues and setting up the company on their own.
Today, we are privileged to have over 400+ customers and are creating exceptional products around content with more than 30,000+ freelance creators applying to Pepper.
